Responding to the growing pressure on the natural grass fields due to increased athletic participation, several soccer fields were converted to synthetic turf fields. One of the largest single field synthetic surface installations in the United States of the time, the fields were lined for women’s lacrosse, softball and field hockey activities.The project involved campus planning, local permitting, and close coordination with the Upper School’s Architect and Construction Manager.
