GRAPHIC DESIGNER/CONTENT CREATOR (3-5+ years’ experience)

We are seeking a Graphic Designer and Content Creator to join our talented team of design and marketing professionals as we begin our rebranding, website redesign, and expansion of content through our social media channels. Applicants shall have strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills, and work well independently, and collaboratively with our team of marketing and design professionals.

Qualifications:

  • BA or Master’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent by experience
  • 3-5+ years’ experience with all aspects of graphic design and content creation
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to graphically express our designs
  • A high proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software, and skilled in image and video editing
  • Graphic and digital content creation for printed, video, and other types of media
  • Organized, detailed, and flexible in a fast moving and changing environment
  • A keen eye for the details and understand the value of consistency and branding
  • Excellent copywriting
  • Skilled in capturing photo and video content
  • Website design experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • This position will report to the Business Development and Marketing Directors and work collaboratively with our design and marketing professionals on a variety of projects
  • Creation of original text, image, and video content for proposals, website updates, social media channels, client presentations, industry conferences and events to promote our visual identity and branding
  • Work closely with our team of design and marketing professionals, and independently, on business development and marketing efforts, from content for our social media channels to award submissions and other projects across different disciplines and target audiences

ARCHITECTURAL JOB CAPTAIN

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Job Captain to join our team in Foxborough, MA who enjoys providing innovative design solutions in a collaborative work environment.  The Job Captain will work under the general supervision of a Project Architect/Manager and will provide design support throughout all phases of a project.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Manager and/or Project Architect with project development
  • Articulate the program, design intent and overall project concept through development of construction drawings including plans and renderings
  • Assist with the coordination of project team members including consultants
  • Assist with materials and product data research
  • Produce Contract Documents in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations and consistent with office standards
  • Update drawings based on principal review, Owner review and Agency review
  • Assist with construction administration including review of submittals and document coordination
  • Attend client and job meetings as required

The right candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree from accredited university
  • 5 – 8 years of related experience
  • Experience with BIM software – specifically Revit
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
  • Proficiency in technical, construction document and presentation material production
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites and attend night meetings on occasion
  • Previous experience with public facility projects a plus
  • LEED accreditation a plus

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to support the development of key deliverables including specifications, drawings, reports, documentation, and status updates
  • Actively participate in the project planning process including research and interpretation of building code and zoning ordinance reviews, site assessments, and site plan review
  • Prepare computer-aided drafting and design models
  • Prepare fully developed program details outlining the design intent and overall project from concept to completion
  • Research product data materials and requirements
  • Produce Contract Documents in compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations and consistent with office standards
  • Update drawings based on Architect, Client, and Agency review
  • Visit job sites to assist with identification of field conditions
  • Prepare reports, studies, and presentations
  • Track projects and report on progress against deadlines

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree from accredited university
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Experience with BIM software – specifically Revit
  • Working knowledge of building standards and building structures
  • Strong time management skills
