Located on a 53-acre site, the public high school campus services 1,500 students in grades 9-12. In 1997, KBA was engaged for the design of the new high school and athletic facility that included a 400M track, varsity football/soccer fields, natural grass varsity baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, and   freestanding athletic buildings.

In 2020, KBA was fortunate to once again be retained by East Haven High School for the replacement of the synthetic turf field and track. The team at KBA provided assessment, programing which included the selection of a synthetic turf system, field layout and markings, and selection of the track surfacing, and cost estimating.

Upon the approval of the conceptual design and project costs, KBA also provided design, permitting, bidding, and construction oversight services for the project.
The multi-purpose synthetic turf field is permanently lined for football and soccer, as well as painted to accommodate lacrosse and field hockey. The long/triple jump and high jump events were reconstructed and resurfaced with a new urethane track surfacing system.
