Designed to reflect classic Cape Cod architecture, the facility provides separation of police, public, and prisoner areas. Features of the station include a combination community room and training facility, a fully-equipped exercise room, secure prisoner processing area, drive-thru sally port, roll call room and a maintenance garage. A thorough feasibility and space needs study was conducted prior to the design of the building.
