The athletic complex was reconstructed to convert the existing natural grass multi-purpose field to a new all-weather synthetic turf field. The new field lies within the 8-lane synthetic surface competition track which was also resurfaced. Extensive sub-surface drainage was installed for the fields and surrounding areas. Additional renovations included re-seeding of the natural grass baseball, softball and practice fields, accessible bleachers and press box, new field lighting, and new scoreboards.
