Smalley Elementary School serves students in grades Pre K-5. Additions were needed to accommodate higher enrollments including expanding the administrative suite, expanding the Media Center for a computer lab, expanding the cafeteria, and adding 10 general classrooms. All classrooms and core spaces were renovated to incorporate increased daylighting, LED lighting, and new technology.
Enhanced security features include a secure vestibule and check-in window, as well as cameras located throughout the interior and exterior of the building. A new bus drop-off/pick-up area was created to eliminate traffic jams around the school and improve student safety. Staff parking areas and a new parent drop-off location have also been added.
