Northampton High School was transformed into a state-of-the-art modern facility while maintaining its original 1940’s art deco integrity. Several of the building’s key rooms were redesigned and reintegrated to allow for a seamless 45,000 square foot building addition. Converting the existing gymnasium into a media center, changing the existing library into the guidance center, and replacing the kitchen and cafeteria with art studios accomplished this complex task. The addition included the cafeteria, kitchen and servery, gymnasium, and band room.
