The existing elementary school building, originally constructed in 1954 with additions in 1994 and 1999, required significant improvements to address the outdated mechanical infrastructure (heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical), traffic flow management and parking limitations, hazardous materials abatement, ventilation, roof remediation, and deteriorating building facades. The upgraded facility enhances the safety, learning environment, and accessibility for the students.

The school remains operational during renovations. It will house up to 443 pre-kindergarten through fourth-grade students and incorporate the addition of a new elevator.

Site improvements include circulation for separate parent/bus drop-off, parking for staff and visitors, separate age-appropriate play spaces, and outdoor learning areas. The front entrance is designed for improved security and visibility.  The school is currently under construction.
