The new grade 6-8 middle school is separated into “pods,” small learning communities, each having two entrances, four classrooms, a science lab, teacher planning area, and common space. Each grade occupies one floor within the school. Additional features include a 400-seat auditorium, a 335-seat cafeteria, media center, and full-sized gymnasium. Color is abundant with each color reflecting the different geometries used throughout the building as well as representing the three different grades.
