The new Abington Police Station was sited behind the original police facility which was demolished. The design incorporates traditional New England elements and harmonizes with the character of the Town. The facility consists of a drive-thru, double-bay sally port; adult and juvenile detention areas including booking area, cells, holding area; communication and dispatch center with separate communication equipment room; fitness room; locker rooms; community/training room; secure evidence lab and storage; roll call room; public lobby and interview rooms; and administrative offices all on one efficiently organized level.

We worked with Kaestle Boos for three years on this project, and throughout that time, the staff was professional and responsive, answering questions, providing solutions to issues, and accommodating requests. Their drawings resulted in very few change orders, keeping construction on-budget and on-time.
