In order to accommodate for a comprehensive, modern academic program for Westwood’s 9-12 grade students a new, 180,000 s.f., 21st century academic facility was constructed. Included is a new athletic complex featuring a multi-purpose competition synthetic football field and a 6/8 lane 400M running track with corrected orientation. The remaining athletic fields are all irrigated, underdrained, high performance natural grass surfaces, accommodating lacrosse, field hockey, baseball and softball. Six tennis courts were also constructed on site for both school and community use. In addition, the gymnasium was completely renovated including locker rooms, common areas, mechanical systems, and storage areas.
