Construction of this $4 million dollar project consists of a total reconstruction of the entire athletic complex and was completed in 2008. Located adjacent to Washington Middle School, the project centers on the addition of a new synthetic turf, multi-sport athletic field for use by the Meriden School District and the Meriden Parks and Recreation programs.

A handicap accessible press box and grandstand with seating for 1,000 spectators, a 4,000 square foot concession stand/field house facility and field lighting were also constructed. Reconfiguration of handicap parking included provisions for handicap access throughout the site. In addition, pedestrian walkways around the site with direct access to the Washington Middle School were improved
