Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. designed a new 39,000 s.f. Public Safety Facility for the Town of Foxborough, MA. The building houses the full operations of the Police and Fire Departments and the Town’s Emergency Management Center. The police department has 8 male cells and 3 female cells, all with vandalism-proof telephones, audio and video monitoring and the latest suicide prevention technology, a secure sally port and public meeting areas. The fire facility has 5 drive-through bays, a training tower, and full kitchen and living quarters for the firefighters. The two departments share a state-of-the-art communications/dispatch area.
