To further revitalize downtown Waterbury, Connecticut, KBA was hired to design a new 800-student performing and visual arts magnet school.  This comprehensive middle-high school features dedicated wings for both academics and arts, united by a scenic skywalk. 

Primary highlights of the school include a great four-story atrium overlooking an encircled, Greek-style courtyard/amphitheatre,  providing an outdoor gathering and performance venue with year-round sun exposure for maximum utilization, an artistic way-finding system throughout the interior of the school, a 225-seat apron-stage theater, 100-seat recital hall, and 100-seat dance studio.
