Central Connecticut State University

KBA, in collaboration with Konover Construction, designed this innovative Residence Hall, which won a 2003 design competition conducted by the State of Connecticut, by meeting design, scope, and cost requirements.

Particular importance in the design of this structure was placed on site orientation, allowing for further definition of the campus “quad”.

This design features Ivy-League arched entranceways, and flowing glass curtain walls which complement and offer a graceful, but not massive presence in relation to the existing campus structures.
