Simsbury Farms

Based on the approved master plan, this 25-year, 235-acre municipal recreation complex will be receiving phased improvements, achieving a complete renovation to its main facility over an eight-year period.  Phase one, including reconstruction of the open-air, artificial ice skating rink (completed in 1999 within accelerated 9-month schedule), pro shop and restaurant (completed in 2002) were the initial stages in working with the Town to enhance their recreational facilities.  Future renovations will include, circulation improvements, maintenance / operations improvements, additional parking and family picnic areas, and basketball courts.
